Practice Nurse Team

The Practice Nurse Team consists of Katy Parker, Mabel Ogueh, Jane Stonier, Yasmine Wood, Katherine Smith and Sarah Broom

All the nurses employed by the Practice are Registered General Nurses. If you are unsure whether you will need to see a nurse or doctor, ask a Receptionist who will make the appropriate appointment for you.

In recent years, the role of nurses in General Practice surgeries has greatly expanded, and the illnesses and conditions that they can deal with have increased. The Practice Nurses undertake various immunisations including childhood, travel, influenza and tetanus. Their general duties include wound dressings, ECG monitoring, Cervical Smears, Ear Care and lots more! They also hold the following clinics:-

  • Family planning
  • Smears
  • Health promotion and education
  • Removal of stitches
  • Dressings
  • Ear syringing (please ask a receptionist for our information leaflet)
  • Some of our nurses have special skills in stress management, smoking cessation, dietary advice and teenage health.

Our nursing team works together to improve and maintain good health.
